Join us for an event that is sure to build her skills, confidence, and understanding of the construction industry! During this event, each girl will have an opportunity to gain some hands-on experience through a variety of skilled trade activities, build their very own keepsake and pizza! The women of the North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters will be on hand to share more about their specialty, answer any questions girls may have about the construction industry and guide them through our day.

When: Saturday, August 17, 2019 | 2:00PM – 6:00 PM
Where: Carpenters Union Training Center – 710 Olive St, St Paul, MN 55130
Event fee: $15 (includes a meal, event materials, and supplies.)
For girls 7-16 years of age

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that women in construction earn an average of 95.7% of what men make.


Only 13% of construction firms are women-owned. –


Women are expected to make up about 25% of the industry by 2020. –
